A human liveable city , where traditions and history meet in a downtown that looks like a eighteenth century living, dominated by the towering dome of Saint Gaudenzio,  Alexander Antonelli’s masterpiece .

A city between a narrow strip of land and rice fields between Sesia and Ticino.

Behind, the sag  hills wine and castles,  and  the suggestive silence of  Orta lake  and the shining  reflections of Maggiore lake.

The horizon is  enclosed by  the alps with their everlasting glaciers of Monte Rosa.
