Mish Mash è un festival di musica elettronica, rock, indie che si svolge nel cuore del territorio siciliano.
Il festival ha molteplici scopi, in primo luogo, celebrare l'incredibile miscela culturale che caratterizza l'isola e, in secondo luogo, per far rivivere il Castello della città, il più grande di tutta la Sicilia, rendendolo il protagonista dell’evoluzione contemporanea.
Il Castello di Milazzo, luogo unico, cuore della storia e della vita siciliana, dove le sue tradizioni sono state fortemente influenzate da un melting pot di culture; proprio per questo il festival è arrivato a definire l'espressione "Mish Mash", al fine di rappresentare pienamente la miscela di costumi e tradizioni che vengono messi in evidenza all’interno del progetto del festival.
Mish Mash is an Electronic + Rock + Indie Music Festival held in Sicily.
The festival has multiple purposes: Firstly, to celebrate the amazing cultural mixture that characterizes the Island. And secondly, to revive the city's Castle, the largest in Sicily, abstaining from a traditional point of view, but through a new guise, that makes it the protagonist of a contemporary evolution. In fact, the unique place that has been chosen for the event is the splendid Castello di Milazzo, which is the heart of history, life and culture and is close to the city center.
Sicilian history and its traditions have been strongly influenced by a melting pot of cultures - a thought that was wisely kept in mind when the festival was thinking of a name for the event.
The expression "Mish Mash" fully represents the mixture of customs and traditions that the festival wants to highlight with its project.
